  • Haha so much time has passed, and surprisingly, junior year is almost at an end; somehow I'm thankful that God's given me the motivation to be more self-motivated this year, whether it was from doing homework, or deciding to actually do random chores and things around the house. However, besides this one fact, it feels like I haven't changed at all.

    This year at Quest, Rob told us that we find our identity in Christ, that other people's view of us doesn't matter, but in my own mind I knew that didn't make any sense to some extent. If this were true, nobody would bother with buying nice dress clothes or even pulling out those mad nice suits. I pondered this question within myself, and realized that it does make sense. As Christians, we should strive to be holy, set apart for a certain purpose, and that purpose demands, and requires us to only care about someone else's standards, and those are God's.

    Despite all the fun that occurred at Quest, making lyrics with Sam...playing ultimate with a bunch of guys...having bro-mance with Jiayi Swai Guh-Swagguh, praising and worshiping God with people from the Livingstone Church was probably the highlight of Quest '09.

  • *sigh* my poofy hair vanished suddenly...and no im not growing it out again...it takes too long, its almost summer, and...i heard i tortured some people with its uglyness o.O

    • being in the same kindergarden class-now almost with adam, sam, dan, jon jon hao!, nick pan who vanished..., theo huang the quiet one :D, and josh lee who had to move :(

  • I just realised that with the pressure Chinese kids recieve from their parents in academic grades, and the pressure from friends to do things, on top with all the school work lead someone I personally know to having anger problems and others. Now, I've started to experienced these things myself. Darn>.< Why can't life be so simple?=D
